If anyone could help on this topic I would appreciate it. I wanted to try out word press for my website which I have through yahoo. But once I activated it this page became my websites index page. Even after I cancelled my word press account you still cannot access my website. I want to get my page back, what should I do?
Sounds like you installed WP smack-dab into your home directory, huh? That would cause challenges, as you've noticed.
Have you tried removing the index.php that WP placed there?
For your next try-out session, you might instead install it into a sub-directory so you can avoid such things. :-)

The funny thing is, when I open page builder and publish my site, the index page title is the same and saves as my index page. When I activated word press I was not signed in with page builder so how could it have installed in my directory?
two completely different apps, both in default mode presuming they control from wherever you install from. Though WP is designed to be able to be installed in a subdirectory easily.
