    Have used WP Security database backup facility it created a file called:
    database-backup-1373893002.sql.

    I have had a crash & cannot access my database.

    How can I recover this (database-backup-1373893002.sql)?
    Do I simply rename the file to my site database name(xxxcx_wrdp1) and import via PHP-My Admin?

    Any help appreciated?
    Thanks Dennis

    Thought I'd try the recover by renaming the All in One WP security backup file. ERROR reported in PHP my Admin:
    Error
    SQL query:

    DROP TABLE IF EXISTS wp_aiowps_failed_logins ;

    MySQL said:

    #1046 - No database selected

    Now I had trieed previously to upload via Import@Php My Admin a complete database.sql file I had exported earlier today - THIS also failed with similar error message about the 'failed login'

    I had enacted in WPSecurity the LOGIN LOCKDOWN & FORCED LOGOUT - have these caused issues with now not being able to recover the database?

    Getting to be a worrying issue!!!

    Just to be sure... do you have the database for your WordPress selected and then importing into that database?

    So in PHPMyAdmin, select the database for your WordPress intall then do an import into that database using the .sql file.

    Thanks - I was not aware I needed to create the database first, then import!!!

    All working fine.
