Recommended WP-Cache Interval (3 posts)

I was wondering what the recommended interval was for caching in WP-Cache. IIRC the default interval is two hours. But if it re-caches pages automatically when they're updated, what's the point in forcing the cache to automatically expire? Wouldn't it be better to set the expiration time to be infinite? Either way, why is the default two hours? I must be missing something here, so if anyone could enlighten me on this issue, that'd be very nice.

you could have dynamic content (such as external news) that you don't want to have run dynamically with the little wrappering feature you can use, but rather just update whenever the cache updates. that's the only main thing I can think of... aside from, I guess, bugs that might cause the auto-recache to NOT happen properly, so the timeout will still catch things.
