[resolved] recommendations shortcode not working (6 posts)

When I insert the short code for recommendations, no slider appears:

    [li_recommendations width="480" length="200" interval="1000"]

However, when I insert the short code for the profile, I am able to view the profile on the page using:

    [li_profile]

Below is the page where both shortcodes are currently inserted (although only the profile is visible):

    http://beta.suzymae.com/?page_id=268

I don't believe I have any other conflicting scripts. And I have also deactivated all other plugins and reactivated but no success.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

it happens because all scripts are inserted in the footer, including jquery. I guess it's coming from your theme.

Hmm.. I'm using a child theme based on TwentyTwelve. I removed the footer content but the testimonial shortcode still did not show up.

if you want that to work (it will impact other plugins too probably) you need to change your theme so that it outputs the scripts properly. Some scripts go in the footer, others must go in the header (like jquery)

it might be one of your plugins which is forcing all the scripts in the footer too...

latest version of the plugin is now working even when all the scripts are in the footer.
