Recommendations Bar Broken with Permalink Change.

The Recommendations bar was working up until I changed my Permalinks. But now it only recommends my homepage.
After realising this, I reverted back to the previous permalink setup. This did not fix the problem. I also re-installed the plugin but this did not help either.
