Deactivate version 3.01 or 3.03 then delete it.
Download from this site Version 2.75
Upload it to your site and activate it

The problem is with “Advanced Responsive Video Embedder” PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function dbgx_trace_var() in /srv/www/wpc-stable/wp-content/plugins/advanced-responsive-video-embedder/admin/class-advanced-responsive-video-embedder-admin.php on line 315 There is some bug in the plugin breaking the wp-admin in general.

on one page the videos appear but play full screen on another page nothing appears.

@cyndi You don’t know?? How about installing 3.0.4 then? I fixed that fast.
@richie_1965 Are you sure you have 3.0.4 installed and newset jQuery Colorbox intalled and activated as well? Because there is no Colorbox script loaded on your site and so there will be no colorbox.

One site the video doesn’t show in sidebar widget via featured page or code in text widget (running on Genesis and customized child theme). Could be their host isn’t on PHP 5.3, I’m checking on that now.
Hi Nico, some feedback, I installed Colorbox just to see, I have no need of colorbox in fact and have never used it before, I have to edit all my video links to put the “thumbnail” option, which is annoying. Before on five sites I used your plugin without colorbox, I think I will continue to use the older version as I don’t need colorbox.
Thanks for your help and if in the future release there is no need of colorbox I will use it again.
@ Cybdi, maybe the thumbnail option will sort out your sidebar problem

@richie: I have no Idea what you are trying to do. First you complain that the vids appear but show in fullscreen, thats what they do when you use thumbnail mode without colorbox, so I figured you need colorbox because its no loaded. Then you say you need edit in the thumbnmail option for every shortcode? Why do you think you need that? Makes no sence if you dont want the thumbs so you dont need to set anything but the mode in options to normal. Are you saying you need to edit the thumbnail option in to make the vids appear normal?? i do not get it.
If you dont need thumbnails then dont use them. Also you were giving me no information on what shortcodes you actually use on those pages, what options you have set …
And you know whats annoying. If you work a entire week on something for free and then you get a bunch of guys on the forums who are basically saying “It’s broken – go fix it” without giving any information, clearly not read the forum rules …

Bottom line is I updated five sites and all the videos disappeared. I tried to help you by leaving the V3.04 on one of my sites and giving you the links so that you could see what I was talking about. You are a much more able man than I. It worked fine previously but has problems now, I cannot be any clearer than that.
So in conclusion I had no intention of upsetting you, please accept my apologies.

I consider your bahavior somewhat rude to continiously refuse to give more information/explain what you want. My last post gave you yet again the Idea that I do not undestand what you want. Yes again you dodge all that again andswer none of the questions in there and appologise instead of just even try to explain. You claim that you can not be more clearer but that simly wrong, you not even try. I still not know the most basic things I need to help you. That all on top if the fact that you not read the forum rules, ignored the moderators comment about it …
Don’t you undestand that “they worked before and not work now” is just not enough? And you can be more clear it just looks like you don’t want to.
If you go back to the old version you are not helping me, yourself and others with the new better version.
So if you wan’t to let me help you please aswer this:
- Please tell me exacly what you want! So you do not want thumbnails you want to play the videos normally in place as they are now or am I wrong? Do you actually understand what the thumbnail mode means? Because to me it looks like you have no idea.
- Why where there thumbnails on that site if you do not want them?

What exact shortcodes did you use on the sites that are not working and what exact shortcodes did you use on that site that are displaying thumbnails even if you do not want them?

Why did you speak about “editing thumbnails option for all videos” please explain? Did you mean by that editing a
mode="thumbnail" into your shortcodes or what? That did help? If yes in what way? From beeing not displayed at all to beeing displayed as thumbnails?

What options do you use? Specifically the ‘mode’ option.
Sorry I get pissed because I did release a message in 2.7.5 on the admin 2 days before realeasing 3.0 it if people could help and download the from github and test. There is no download counter on github so I dont know if anybody did actually download the beta. But the fact is that I saw hundereds of downloads here on wp.org and nobody messaged here the he tested the plugin so I guess hundreds of people just clicked “dismiss” and did not bother. I tryed to aviod something like this from happening and then I get the forum full of extremely short messages against the rules in one thread like “It’s broken – go fix”. I need to get better at support because I am supposed to be super nice all the time no matter what. I failed.
