I don't even know if I can fix my issue with recent posts not updating on all blog lists, because I don't know if I caused the problem.

5 days ago, a post I published (which is now temporarily deleted, along with a couple of other posts I published after that one), has remained on some blog lists (google's blogger lists?) as being the latest post on my blog (which it is not).

My feed validates for my site and the recent posts update on my RSS widget (when I've had it there). I have three other blogs on subdomains and all 3 of them present no problem, but the one on my main site definitely has something wrong.

My main site is Sheila Schoonmaker's Maiden Blog.

You can see what I mean if you look at my blog link blogger test blog in the footer section for Hearth's Blogs in Crackling Hearth. It stays stuck at "The Two Validation Choices."

I've spent hours of days reading through similiar issues on google's sites hoping to solve this mystery. I hope someone here may have some ideas I haven't seen already.

Does anyone have any idea if this issue is something which can be resolved? If so, how?

When I deleted all my posts published after "The Two Validation Choices" (<-- including that one), then the latest post showed up.

This morning, I published a new post. I thought it was stuck on the previous post, because of how long it took before the most recent one appeared.

Meanwhile I put back the posts I had deleted. When I deleted them, I deleted them from the trash too. I copied the contents into files on my hard drive, which is from where I now copied them back into my blog.

Because I'm not sure if restoring those deleted posts will cause the issue to recure, I'm hesitant to say the this update problem is resolved.

After enough time passes for me to be sure that it doesn't happen again, I will come back here to mark this situation as resolved.
