   I like the recent posts widget, but I want to display recent posts that arent already right on the front page....any ideas?

   I'm trying to figure out the same thing. My main page currently shows five posts, so I want the recent posts listed in the sidebar to start at the sixth post. Anyone?

   You can do this using Custom Loops, have a read of these pages, and then if you have any more questions, post back.
