   I'm ready to beat this plugin to death with my keyboard. It's listed as compatible with WordPress 2.7+ when...it isn't. The plugin itself will activate and display, but all configuration options are broken, rendering it useless. The error I receive when I attempt to access the "wp-admin/options-general.php?page=recent-posts.php" page it's trying to direct me to is "Cannot load recent-posts.php."

   I've tried it on three separate installs so far with no luck. Is there a fix for this? Or an alternate plugin? I need to be able to display only one specific category in my sidebar. I'm willing to wade into template tags if absolutely necessary, but I haven't found any that seem promising.

   Works okay for me at 2.7.1 as long as the http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-plugin-library/ plugin is installed and activated.

   i get the same problem too .. cannot load recent-posts.php
