recent posts outside of wp

    Ok, here’s what I am trying to do on this site http://www.morganbreslinlaw.com i’ve installed wp in the wp directory, and want to have a simple .txt file spit out of my 3 or 4 recent tags. In MT i used to create a mini template file that spit this out and used SSI to include it on my front page (other site, not this one). But I need to know how to do such things in WP.

    Though the solution is “taylored” to that specific website, you can get the idea.
    Furthermore, if you already have the call for the wp-blog-header (see the important bit in my reply there) you can use many different solutions for your site:
    – custom query_posts
    – recent posts plugin
    – The Loop
