   Hi there,

   My company website is a static website with a wordpress built onto the side of it.

   I want to make the 'The Latest' on the homepage of my website dynamically display the latest post from the blog, but I can only find help using The Loop etc on wordpress pages and templates.

   Is what I am trying to do possible?
   Any help is much appreciated,

   See Integrating_WordPress_with_Your_Website...the trick is getting the correct 'path' in the require statement.
