On one of my less-updated sites, I've noticed that, if a user is not logged in, one cannot see the three most recent posts on the main page, though one can go to to URL for that specific post and see it just fine. If a user is logged in, he can see the most recent posts on the main page (and not know that anything is wrong -- like me!).
Examples:
Main page, which only shows up to "Chapter 6":
http://www.saturdayactionmatinee.com
A later post, "Chapter 9," which is visible whether one is logged in or not:
http://www.saturdayactionmatinee.com/archives/342
All posts are marked as "Visibility: Public." I'm running 2.8.4, and I've recently installed WP-DBManager to see if it was a reparable database problem. WP was originally installed with Fantastico; I have several other WP installs in the same hosting package, and none of them show this problem.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
