Recent Posts linking issue

    I can create posts without any issues but the link in the sidebar keeps sending me to my website homepage.

    WordPress is at http://www.abmall.net/secretego/index1.php

    When you hover over the link in the recent posts, they are pointing to abmall.net/secretego/?p=*** but I have found that if they pointed to
    abmall.net/secretego/index1.php/?p=*** that is works great.

    So I thought I would change the URL in the general settings but it will not let me. It seems to be locked into http://www.abmall.net/secretego

    I tried modifying the two records in the database but when I test the website, nothing changes. Going back to the database the records have returned to the previous values.

    Shouldn’t I be able to change the URL to make this work properly? Do I need to reinstall?

    Resolved — I took the 1 off of index1.php so that the initial page was index.php. Everything works now.
