   Hi,

   I want to display recent posts on my static home page and have installed and activated the recent-posts-plugin, and also the required post-plugin-library.

   I have also added it to my widget menu.

   However, the installation instructions says that I need to insert <?php recent_posts(); ?> in to my template where I want it to appear.

   I get lost at this point and do not know where to begin to get my recent posts to appear on my static home page.

   Could some one kindly talk me through it in a very simple layman's step by step process as I am not experienced with this type of editing?

   You will want to review. This plugin is well documented!

   Note:
   If your theme supports widgets, assuming the plugin that makes that widget available is activated, you should be able to use that via Administration > Appearance > Widgets.

   However, the installation instructions says that I need to insert <?php recent_posts(); ?> in to my template where I want it to appear.

   If you are using a Widget you may find you don't need to change a theme template file.

   it's possibel to show thumbnail along wit this plugin well i pull thumb nail via function
