   Hello,
   I have searched everywhere and tried several tutorials to add a recent post to my homepage (valeradesign.net), which is located outside of wordpress blog that I have installed on my site. The typical setup seems to be to download recent post plugin, place it in the wordpress directory and add a few lines of code to your wordpress page. However, like I mentioned my website is not part of wordpress. So, that did not work for me. Unfortunately, I have zero knowledge of coding. Do I have to edit the php plugin file to reroute it to the wordpress folder? I have no idea :(
   If anyone could help, that would be freaking awesome.

   You can use RSS feeds and just embed the RSS feed to your non wordpress page.. HOWEVER you should know that any page you embed php code needs to change from .html to .php
