Howdy folks! Hope everybody is having a wonderful kick off to summer with Memorial Day Weekend and all. Suppossed to be in the 90's where I am - woohoo!

OK I got a quick little question I hope you all can answer for me. Not sure how easy this would be. I have the "Recent Comments" plugin installed and activated and working fine. Plugin located here at the bottom of the page:

Works great but I link to previous blog articles a lot and when I do it leaves a pingback in my recent comments section. Is there a way to eliminate my recent comments plugin from recording those whenever I personally link within the blog. I guess I would only want trackbacks/pingbacks recorded from external blogs and comments from my readers to appear.

Thanks in advance and get outside if you can. Enjoy the sunshine!

One way not to ping/trackback yourself is to leave off your domain name. So instead of linking to http ://www.example.com/blog/post
    link to
    /blog/post
