   I've been trying to sign on to my site/blog and every time I fill in my correct username and password, it just refreshes the page and doesn't go anywhere.

   Yes, I have my cookies enabled, as well as pop up windows.

   I've tried signing on through Firefox, Safari and Explorer - NONE of them work.

   I know I'm using the right username and password.

   I am totally locked out of my blog - can somebody please help me figure this out?!

   Unfortunately I do not have phpMyAdmin already installed, so this won't help me. Thanks, though.

   What about scrolling down on the same (Codex) page and reading #5?

   #5? Which one is that?

   If you're referring to the Emergency php thing, I just tried that and got an error message trying to access my site's emergency login.

   OK, I just accessed my site's emergency login, typed in a new password, and I'm still completely unable to access my admin.

   I'm almost ready to give up here.

   are you still having the issue? what version of wordpress?

   Yes - it's still giving me an incorrect password error after doing the whole emergency.php thing.

   I'm using WP 2.6 - should I reload it?

   Hi there, if you,ve changed the password with the emergency script. try deleting your browser cache and cookies, then go back and log in.
   hope you get there.
