   I'm working on a website for a guy who doesn't want the blog on his site's home page.

   Here is a link to what we're doing so far- http://aandatruckrepair.com/wordpress/

   The theme I'm using has been heavily customized but its originally called "Mobile Week".

   When browsing through the WordPress codex, it seems that I have to make an additional "home" page and change that individual page's theme? I'm really confused. All I want is to be able to add text and a few pics to the home page and keep it that way forever.

   Your help would be appreciated!!!

   My friend, thanks for the reply. Only, this is the part that confused me!

   "Set the "Home" template to the default template or any custom template. Title your template as something other than home.php as this could cause a conflict."

   Call me a novice even though I've been using WP for quite some time, but how in the heck do I complete this above step? Where do I go in my dashboard to make this happen?
