Real Virus or not (5 posts)

    For months I've been getting a message that the regular scan of my blog "suggests alarm". When I do a manual scan I get the following:

    {include} ('navigation.php'); }

    This shows up in three lines of code, all from my theme (monochrome) folder, which the word "navigation" highlighted in yellow.

    This has been happening for months, but I have not noticed anything else out of the ordinary. Is this a false-positive, and if so, how can I tell?

  2. What are you using to scan, and where is the file found? In a theme folder, a plugin or ...?

    I'm using AntiVirus 0.9

    The warmings are for files in /themes/monochrome/archive.php and /themes/monochrome/index.php and /themes/monochrome/search.php and /themes/monochrome/page-nocomment-noinfo.php

    "warnings" I meant

  5. Thanks.

    If you got it from here: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/monochrome

    Then it's unlikely you have a virus, BUT to be safe, redownload it and re-install it.
