Real help please.

Hello!

I am running WP 3.5 with Minimatica theme. I was able to upload media (pictures), but when I try to insert the pictures into a post (via the Add Media button), the popup for the Media Library is empty with no pictures to choose from.

When I try to upload individual files via the popup, I get an error message; the pictures are uploaded to the library, but again, cannot be accessed inside the post through the Add Media button.

I have tried deactivating all plug-ins, and I switched to and from the Twenty-Eleven theme, but it still will not work.

Another moderator suggested I visit the following website: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/troubleshooting-wordpress-35-master-list?replies=4 . When I did, the entire website disappeared, and I receive the following error whenever I try to access the website: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_DNUMBER in /home/content/51/8317451/html/wp-content/themes/minimatica/functions.php on line 64

I have found a way to access the back end, but I don’t know what to do about this “line 64” jazz. Can someone help me?

Line 64 is: add_image_size( ‘homepage-thumb’, 688, 230, 1 );
