Reading Settings > Summary of blog post in Feed not working

    For our up and coming blog section on our site I would like for it to show a short snippet of the blog posts, not the entire thing on the landing page of the blog, in the feed.

    I went into Settings > Reading and ticked the “summary” box in the following section:

    “For each article in a feed, show For each article in a feed, show
    Full text
    Summary”

    This however, doesn’t seem to work and is still showing the full post on the blog feed.

    Any help? any suggestions on what i should do? anyone else having difficulty?

    Change Customiz’it > Pages & Posts Layout > Select the length of posts in lists (home, search, archives, …) => Display the excerpt
