reading settings, choice 'show static page' don't show

Hello,

i’m setting up a blog using this theme
http://wpshower.com/themes/portfolium/

in the settings section
trying to set the front page display…
i was trying to set the showing of a static page…
at one point this choice just disapeared…

anyone know what happend and how can i fix that?
