" Read More" tag disappears

    Hi
    Two days ago I inserted a ” read more” tag in 2 posts in my blog (a proper blog template page in my CMS site). They worked fine. Then yesterday – out of a sudden they were gone. The tag is still visible in my editor – both visual and text – yet the effect of breaking up a long post on the blog page IS NOT THERE.

    I have re-instered them – with the same result.

    I have googled this issue yet disn’t find the solution.

    Can anyone help?

    I’ve found that the READ MORE won’t show unless you have the option in the APPEARANCE > THEME SETTINGS > BLOG set to full content. If you have it set just an Excerpt, then the READ MORE won’t show. I struggled with the same issue yesterday and I finally got it to work this way. Hope this helps. – Deni

    Um. This didn’t work for me. When I set ‘Full Content’ it shows the full content as expected and there isn’t any Read More.
