Hello, i installed wordpress yesterday (so i didn't made any posts yet) and messed something in FTP, now the blog has theme is plain text and when i press to "login" a:
"No input file specified." message on browser window appears. As i don't have no information stored yet, i wanted to reinstall blog, be deleting wordpress folder and upload a new one, but when i go to /wp-install.php, a:
"Already Installed
You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first." message appears, how to clear those tables?
Your site's admin panel > MySQL (database) management tool: (most likely phpMyAdmin)... then drop the tables.
I have all the database passwords/usernames stuff, but i don't know this phpmyadmin stuff, because other people did this for me, but now i'm on my own.
So i don't know how to do this stuff.
Then you don't need to install anything.
Just replace the files with new ones - seemingly you did.
Does it work now?
i did this already, 2 times in a row, no difference, shows me that wordpress is already installed.
Because it's the same database, i think.
Any other ideas?
I need this urgent, my domain is peslt.com, maybe that will give you any clue
