[resolved] Re-Install Problems (2 posts)

I am fouled up something awful. I was running along just fine with my first wordpress install and I made the mistake of trying to install a WordPress MU. I never could get it to work right, so I tried to undo everything. That didn't work and it still showed that I had a network, so tried to delete my wordpress directory through FileZilla and re-install. That left me with 404 Server errors. SO, I had the bright idea of deleting my database from godaddy's server and creating a new one. So far, that hasn't worked either. I have a feeling that it has something to do with my wp-config.php file, but I'm not really sure how that got messed up. Am I completely hopeless here? I've even had the idea of just moving to a new host and trying to start over again - I'm open to just about anything at this point to get my site up and going again. I'd appreciate ANY help you guys can give - you are a very knowledgeable bunch.

    Thanks,

    Ben

Export your data if you can access admin, and backup your db. Then upload clean WordPress installation and install it (you can create new db). Be sure that all files are uploaded successfully. Then import your data. If you can't access installation interface, that's problem with domain pointing. Point your domain name to name servers on your host and wait until it's propagated (until you can access web installation). If installation finishes fine, than everything is went well, if not, post errors back.
