I’ve been having a bit of a nightmare installing Mingle Forum and have still not resolved the problems I have in posting to forum threads. However, in my attempts to “start afresh” I decided to remove all the database tables related to Mingle in the hope that re-installing the plug-in would re-create them – wrong!!!

Can anyone tell me how I can re-create those table, or, better still, create a condition where Mingle will re-create them as it must have done when the plug-in was installed in the first place.

I did find one post reporting the same issue but it apparently resolved itself – which it hasn’t done in my case.

Any help would be much appreciated.

OK – sorted it. If anyone else has the same problem, the solution is to de-activate the plugin, then go into the wp_options table and find the “mingle forum options” row and remove it (be careful not to drop the entire options table). Then re-activate Mingle Forum again.

This forces the plug-in to re-create the database.
