Rare problem

    make sure you have the database setup and you are using the correct username and password.

    This information should be set in the wp-config.php file.

    the user and password are right, because I connect from mysql admin. do you know other causes for this problem?

    hmm… how about the mysql hostname? it’s typically localhost, but perhaps yours is configured differently?
