G’day Alexander,
I’ll be integrating Rapid 3.0 API into a premium version of this plugin, later in the year. It’s easier that retrofitting Rapid 3.0 into this plugin.
The premium plugin will have other new features such as support for multiple eWAY customer IDs, better conditional payment handling (allowing your form to more easily support either eWAY or another payment option like PayPal or direct debit), and more flexibility with recurring payments / subscriptions.
Stay tuned!
That sounds great. I am really keen for the token payments to work, so that we can get customers to fill out an authority form with their credit card details once. Then whenever they buy something else, their credit card gets charged automatically without them needing to enter anything.
Cheers
G’day Alexander,
Yes, token payments is another reason to put this into the premium plugin. It adds some complexity because it requires management of user data, tracking the token created with the user so that it may be reused later. Dropping the Rapid 3.0 API into the plugin doesn’t automatically bring token payments, they must be properly managed.
cheers,
Ross
Is your plan to make the Token Payments work with the User Registration Add-On? Or with any form?
G’day Alexander,
It’ll work with any form when the submitter is a logged in user. It will also detect when a form has a User Registration feed configured and will store the created token against the new user.
cheers,
Ross
