Random/Intermittent 403 Error

    I work in an office with several computers and for some reason 1 computer gets random/intermittent 403 errors. We are running a multisite installation, but everything works fine for everyone accept 1 computer and they are fine some of the time, but other times get the dreaded 403 you have no permission to access this file. I’m stumped as to what the problem could be.

    we are hosted on a windows server through 1and1.com

    Hello,

    While generally a 403 error is based off the permissions of the file or the .htaccess, if it is only from one computer then the files themselves are likely fine.

    Check this page for ideas on how to resolve the issue on the computer: http://www.pcerrorsfix.com/fix-error-403 as it could be an issue with the registry or the host file on the computer.
