Hello,
My website is http://www.geekchic.me. Now a few months ago I added a tumblr button via a plugin thinking it would be able to show a tumblr button at the bottom of each page like the other facebook/twitter share buttons.
However, now it's just decided to be at the bottom of each page randomly rather then at the bottom of a post.
Now, i've removed the tumblr plugin and deleted it but it still appears and I have no isea how to make it go away! :(
Can somebody please help me?
Thanks :)

Are you sure that's not part of the Share and Follow plug-in? Have you tried deactivating that one and seeing if the errant icon goes away?

Also - have you completely deleted the old Tumblr plug-in from your server?

I've finally managed to add a tumblr share button with the share and follow plug-in at the bottom of posts - it was so easy, i'm so dumb lol.
But I still can't get rid of the tumblr sign and I have completely deleted the tumblr plug-in, well I believe I have - it is no longer on the plugin page or the un-active page as I believe I have deleted it - but could it possibly be lurking about somewhere else?
Thanks :)

Hiya, you didn't really answer my question or try what I suggested earlier. You're making an assumption that the stray Tumblr icon is related to the plug-in you deleted, but I'm suggesting that you rule out your existing plug-in as the cause by temporarily deactivating it. If the stray icon is still there, then you can look for another source, such as:
Did you hard-code anything into your theme files?
Could it be coming from any other plug-in? You could try deactivating all your plug-ins temporarily to see if it disappears.

Hi, sorry I think I got a bit confused by it.
I de-activated all the plug-ins on my site and that darn stray button is still there :(
Another admin must have hard-coded something in but I can't get in touch with them as they are away for quite a while :(.
Oh well, it will just have to remain there lol

The first place I'd check would be footer.php. Good luck!
