Random past events being deleted

    Hi,

    We are using Events Manager version 5.5.2 and recently we have an issue where past events are being deleted off the system randomly.

    We allow specific users to upload their own events through the front end of the site using the events submission form and it seems to be these events that are affected the most.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hiya,

    By ‘deleted’ do you mean they are no longer visible through the dashboard, and sent to trash, or that they are no longer visible on the site?

    EM doesn’t show past events on the front end by default, and in order to see past events in the dashboard you must use the available filters.

    If they are being moved into the trash it is likely that another plugin, or user, is doing this.

    Hi,

    We can see past events by clicking back on the EM calendar widget on the sidebar.

    The events that are missing are no longer visible anywhere on the site and are not in the trash folder. They seem to just disappear completely and at random.

    If they’re not in Trash then they’re not being deleted – sounds like there’s filtering or shortcode issue.

    Can you share a link to a page that’s not showing events correctly?
