I am having an issue with cutting and pasting articles into WordPress posts. Whenever a quotation mark or apostrophe appears, the resulting post displays it as a square. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, please email me at rich.bergeron@gmail.com

You shouldn't do that ever - especially, with the wysiwyg/visual editor on.

So how do I fix it, put it on the code editor?
If you want to continue to cut and paste - turn OFF the visual gizmo in Users > Your profile.

That didn't work. I'm still having the same issue.
I tried to cut and paste: “Fight Capitol of California”
It doesn't work.

Here's an example of what the blog looks like:

The problem is that “ and " are not the same to a website. A pain, but a reality. WP handles some types of curly quotes getting pasted in, but others will screw it up.
Just paste it in, then erase the curly quotes and type a normal " instead.

I never had this problem before I upgraded. Isn't upgrading supposed to fix problems instead of adding them?
