   How can I insert the category name into my sidebar? What's the code to do that?

   Example:

   If i want the sidebar to say: You are currently at the <CATEGORY NAME> area.

   What would be the code so the <CATEGORY NAME> shows the name of the category or the category slug?

   I tried searching with no luck.

   Just use the following function in your sidebar <?php single_cat_title(); ?>

   By the way... you can use this in any part of you template...
