Quick Notice Bar – what gets posted on Facebook when you click like

I love the plugin but need to control what shows up on Facebook when you click like. I have the bar announcing fundraising events and a link to our events page – but when a use clicks like it only picks up some of the event page info which look like gibberish on the Facebook wall.
