   Does anyone know of a plugin that will let me maintain a short list of links on the side of my blog - not a blogroll, <i>per se</i>, but more like a rolling list of one-line posts links.

   Example: Electrolite has "Particles" and "Sidelights", which are short lists of links to things the authors have found interesting enough to share, but not interesting enough to bother writing a full blog-post about.

   I tried searching, but didn't come up with anything even close to it.

   ok. is there a good tutorial around that could show me how to get started in writing my own ? (i'm fine with php)
