This looks like you’ll have to move about bits of HTML in the header.php file. First, do you have a Child Theme?
I have a custom css… is that the same?
I tried installing a child theme, but somehow did not understand it in the end

Do you have access to the folders and files of your website, FTP access?
Yes, I am the “webmaster”

In the ‘/wp-content/themes/
‘ directory can you make a folder called “decode-child”?
Oh boy, please be patient with me.. I have come this far as a first time user and it’s the only thing I am stuck on!
I can’t find ‘/wp-content/themes/’ directory

Your hosting providers will be able to help you with this, don’t worry we’ll be here when you get back.

To clarify are you wanting something like this: http://snag.gy/NhF4F.jpg ?
Yes exactly!
Just not be that condensed – the height should also not be restricted, if that makes sense?

Right, so my hosting provider has responded with an unhelpful response:
“When it comes to the install of a WordPress Hetzner can assist you. When it comes to the setting up of the domain with WordPress,
we suggest that a client uses a web designer.”

Tell them you need help with creating a folder inside the “/wp-content/themes” directory, and tell them you need it named “decode-child”.
