   Just upgraded to 2.8, and those features don't seem to work anymore. Anyone else have this problem?

   Okay, none of that worked, except now the CSS elements have been disappearing from some of the dashboard pages. All the other support topics I've found only deal with 2.7.

   Try re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-content folders from a fresh copy of the relevant 2.8 version.

   Turned out I had to uninstall one of my plugins. Gotta remember: "It's always a plugin."
