   I found this plugin to be very slow in serving up a chat - over 30 seconds or more in many cases. I've been testing others which are fast.

   Hello sorry for the delays I'm currently in a hospital :) As for Quick Chat speed it depends only on your web server performance. Quick Chat is a bit resource intensive because it does many things to make your chat operational so I don't recommend using it on cheap or crowded hosting.

   HI Marko,

   I sorry you are in the hospital - I pray that you recover 100 percent.

   I have a dedicated server - dual core /Linux. I have since installed phpFreeChat and found that it is much faster compared to QuickChat. Did not check if QC is using the PHP socket or not.

   QC is pure web chat and no it isn't using sockets (don't know details about phpFreeChat). QC is resource intensive due to many features and the fact it has no dedicated server program (it uses only Apache and MySQL). Anyways I'm glad you found something that works better for you.
