[resolved] Question on how to login to new WP site (3 posts)

Apologies if this is obvious, but I spent some time searching the forum and reading the Installation guides that I could find, and haven't found a relevant answer.

I signed up with BlueHost to have them host and install a WP blog site for me and it is up and running (www.defensology.com), but I have no idea how I'm supposed to log in to admin the blog itself. I have login info for my Bluehost admin account, and can get to cpanel, and have looked around in mySQL, but unfortunately, I am sql and php challenged and don't know my way around them well enough to slog through this without some help.

How do I determine what username and password have been configured to log me into my WordPress blog? I have all privileges via cpanel->mySql, but I don't see anything in cpanel related to WordPress at all. I see a user name in mySQL, and a database name, but that username isn't recognized by the blog admin, nor is the username given to me by Bluehost. Am I missing something, or did Bluehost neglect to give me some additional information that I need to log in to WordPress?

    Thanks.

Under the Meta on the right sidebar don't you see the "login" link?

Edit. Oops, didn't read carefully. If the host installed it, they were supposed to give you the login info.

Yea, they didn't give me the login info. But I found a very useful article via this forum on how to use phpMyAdmin to go into the tables and change the unknown encrypted password to a new, encrypted password and I now have access to my site. Hallelieuah, great article, many thanks for the support resources here. This one is Resolved.
