Type this:
"ABC. DEF" gets "ABC. DEF".
"ABC. DEF" (that's two spaces after the .) gets "ABC.? DEF".
What can I tell you?
Firefox 1.5
Windows XP

I could not reproduce that error.
Neither could I. I tried variations as well.
Dunno. I can't avoid it. I tried turning off all plugins and using a standard theme.
Which version is this? The latest of 2.0 or one of the older betas?
The official release of 2.0.
That's odd. I can't seem to reproduce it. Perhaps some more tests and example are worth quoting, or else a bug report cannot be filed (let alone a bug be assumed).
I think I figured it out, only I can't explain why we're not seeing it and you are (I mean the ?).
Everyone: try adding multiple spaces between "ABC." and "DEF":
ABC. DEF
See some extra something there in the post (which is not showing in the editor)? The wysiwyg editor is not inserting a regular space character, but something else.
