Question For Moderators

    Hello,

    I have a resouce I’d like to share with the “Themes and Templates”. Before I posted a link I wanted to be sure it was ok.

    I just launched a new site that offers 800×200 high quality JPG header images that can be used for personal websites or blogs. I have 60 graphics available in 7 categories. I plan to add new images weekely.

    The graphics are offered as linkware so if you use a header image as part of your site design I just ask that you include a text link giving credit and a link-back to my site.

    I personally created all the graphics. No registration required. Downloads are immediate. No pop-up or anything like that.

    May I post the link?

    Hello there! First, I would like to say Thank You VERY much for asking up front. That’s very gracious of you, and EXACTLY the sort of thing we like to see. As a precedent, it’s STERLING.

    Now, please understand that as moderators, we are not the final be all and end all say for what’s okay, but in this case (unless it later develops that your linkware isn’t just that or something) I don’t see any reason at all for you not to post the link. It sounds like good stuff, and pretty useful to many people. Linkware is cool: doesn’t cost “real” money, and certainly doesn’t take up much space on a page!

    So go for it. I do suggest you start a new thread though – this one’s not the place to announce….
