   Hi,
   I installed WordPress now. But I have there a problem i cannot fix myself.

   When I want to open a category there is allways the link like:

   http://www.xyz.de/category/mynewcategory

   I just want

   http://www.xyz/mynewcategory

   I found the fix for articels but not for the category. Hope somebody can help me.

   Perhaps a WordPress plugin to remove "category" from the url?

   http://www.google.com/search?q=wordpress+plugin+category+url

   I can recommend the current first result, the Top Level Categories plugin.
