question and confused

    I am new in wordpress. I have bluehost hosting and I just downloaded wp from them. anway, i tried uploading themes by using filezilla and directly to public-html wp content wp themes. but it doesn’t work! i tried it a lot of time but it doesn’t work. Also when i try clicking in the wp theme in my dashboard, and clicked on my themes it asked me to log in.. I used my log in name and password after i installed wordpress but it says there’s no such thing. so I registered another username just to be in this forum please help

    Make sure you are uploading the correct folder. Many problems with themes are because of improperly nested directories. If you have a MyTheme folder, and inside of it is another MyTheme folder, and inside of that is a list of files and folders, then you have to be sure to upload the second folder which contains all the files and folders of the theme and not the first folder which contains the second folder.

    What version of WordPress do you have? In your dashboard, you should see a Design button and you should be able to see a list of Themes in the Themes list. If your theme was uploaded properly, it should show there.
