In the User field of the User table in mySQL database, I see users "yRoot", "me" and four other entries in the format"yscr_bbxxxx" where "xxxx" is text.

Who are these yscr users and why are their names encrypted and more importantly, why is my name ("me") not encrypted?

When you log in to your blog, and go to the dashboard, then manage, and then users what do you see there?

Do you see the same user names that you see in your MySql database table?

Are you on Yahoo for hosting?

what makes you think that yscr_ is encrypted anything -- thats not any sort of encryption I recognize.

And yes I think he's on yahoo - atleast that what his profile and previous posts suggest.

This is the third time I've written this reply.

ON MY SYSTEM, PRESSING TAB WHILE IN THIS REPLY BOX RETURNS ME TO THE TOP OF THE SCREEN AND DELETES ALL CONTENTS OF THIS REPLY BOX.

    Let me try it again.

The User table of mysql contains the following users in the following order:

    yroot
    yscr_bbkTgp
    yscr_bb5Qix
    yscr_bbimZ5
    dummy
    yscr_bb1Hqf
    yscr_bbQMX
    yscr_bblkbt

That might mean something to those with a lot of database or WP experience, but as far as I'm concerned, it's encrypted. The strings in the Password fields are also, to me, encrypted as they do not exist in ANY human language.

Now, in my phpMyAdmin, the structure is not exactly as Rockhauler described, but I think he is asking for the data in my User table. That table contains three records:

    ID1, Username is dummy1
    ID2, Username is dummy2
    ID3, Username is dummy3

Please note that these names are not the same as those in mysql user table.

Yahoo! is my host. I am using WP version 2.0.2. Not by choice. Yahoo will not upgrade, and I'm too dumb to do it myself (already tried twice and each time had to use the Yahoo wizard to reinstall version 2.0.2 and restart at Square 1).

I hope this is enough information for somebody to tell me what those "yscr_bbxxxx" entries in the mysql>user table are, how they relate to the three entries in the Users part of my "Dashboard" application, and why "me" is not "encrypted" as the other entries appear to be.
