    I currently have the Ultimate Tag Cloud plugin installed on my site – but I’ve tried other plug ins and had the same issue – so it doesn’t appear to be specific to that software.

    The tag cloud shows up flush against the right hand sidbar – I’ve spent the last 2 hrs trying every suggestion I could track down to get it to center, or even justify – nada.

    Admittedly, I’m one of those annoying newbies when it comes to html, but so far I’ve been able to figure out how to do things – but this has got me stumped.

    My url is http://www.inspiredgiftgiving.com

    Advice, suggestion – very much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Marty Herald

  • The sidebar that you are adding the Tag widget to is only 140px wide. Try adding:

    .thin-sidebar {width:300px;}

    to the bottom of your theme’s stylesheet.

    Thanks for the suggestion – thing is, I did check the Sidebar CSS for both my theme and the CSS for the plugin – both show 300 px. Then I used Firefox Mozilla and Firebug to check the sidebar – again it’s showing 300 px. The images and the top and the recent posts look fine -it’s only the tag cloud.

    These things usually end up being one small adjustment, and I know there are MANY other things I should be focusing on now, but this is making my crazy . . .

    Thanks again,
    Marty

    Got it!

    Ms. Obsessive here couldn’t let it go, so decided to give it one more try and this time it worked . . . don’t know if I did something different or what, but it’s fixed now and I’m going to keep my hands off it. (at least for now)

    Thanks again!

    I did check the Sidebar CSS for both my theme and the CSS for the plugin – both show 300 px.

    The lower part of the sidebar is a separate block that is only 140px wide.
