Question about moving installation (5 posts)

I'm using WordPress that I installed onto my site using Simple Scripts at my hosting company, so it automatically installed it for me. I'm planning on moving to a new hosting company that doesn't use Simple Scripts, so I would have to install it manually.

I was wondering, if I'm just moving my whole website, can I just copy all the files from my current provider, and upload them to another. Or would I have to reinstall WordPress manually? Thanks for any info.

You'll also need to export the database as that's where all your content is.

Read the documentation to get a better idea of the whole process.

Most important is the database - thats where all your articles and posts are.
