    in a featured area of the site, i want to display a picture, a title, and then a "more" link. how im currently doing this is creating the post, adding a picture at the top, splitting the page just under the picture, and then adding the following code:

    <?php if (in_category('32')) : ?>

        <?php
           the_content('<p class="small_link_right">View</p>');
           $key="featured_title";
           echo "<p class=\"featured_job\"><strong>Featured Job:</strong> ".get_post_meta($post->ID, $key, true)."</p>";
        ?>

    im getting all the info that i want correctly. the problem is im getting a few extra <p> tags as well, which is throwing the layout off. could anyone tell me why im getting the extra tags, what i can do to get rid of them, or a better way of getting that to display just the info i want (picture, title, more) ? thanks
