   Apologies if this is a newbie question but I need a bit of advice. I realize that to start a deal site one needs a plugin for deals/coupons and might also need an affiliate plugin as well. I have searched the plugins that are available and I am pretty happy with the functionality they provide. I have also found other paid plugins for both affiliate platforms and deal/coupon platforms. My issue is that I am not sure which ones are the best to use. Should I buy a plugin for either purpose, is it worth it? If so which ones are the best ones to use for both the deal and the affiliate platforms on a deal site? A bit of advice would be appreciated.

   There are very few plugins, ESPECIALLY THE SEO, worth paying for. S2 Membership is worth upgrading and Askimet is worth donating a few bucks to. Regardless of who gets angry - SEO plugins are a complete JOKE!

   Neither clothing, shoes, car seats braces or other are a 'one-site fits all' solutions yet SEO is? These plugins caused many of my clients more problems than they solved.

   Now, I will say this - If SEO Software Guru Brad Callen or SEOMOZ.org created a SEO Plugin, it would ROCK!

   DO NOT allow a plugin to dictate the lay-out of your site. Themes today, especially paid, allow you to do all you need to according to your desires.

   Truthfully, spend more time trying to understand your theme needs and the rest will fall into place. (except SEO)

   Livavo's question had nothing to do with SEO.

   Anyway, a plugin is not necessary for affiliates. Depending on your skillset, you may be able to simply do what you need on your own. What exactly are you looking to do with the site? Do you have an example of an existing site that you'd like to mimic?
