query_posts in include certain category??

    I am trying to include only the posts from a certain category (the oposite of what I am trying to do here –> http://wordpress.org/support/topic/48731

    Is there a way I can accomplish this? Right now, it seems to work ’em’unless’/em’ the number of posts is larger than what WP is set to display… for example on this page ( http://gpetzold.swifthost.net/wp/recipe/ ) I have added some test posts to display what I am talking about… there is actually one more post on the previous page. When you click on that link at the bottom, you get a 404 error. I know the post is there b/c when you view the category archive it is there.

    Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening and a way to get around it??

    Upon further inspection of my site… it appears this is not an issue with the inclusion of the posts but rather an issue with the “page” itself… will start a new thread with the appropriate subject…
