Hello there! I am new here and this is my first time in the foruns. I am using BadgeOs in my site, and all is perfect. I am using the shortcode [badgeos_achievements_list] to display in a single page called “Badges” the list of all of it. Ok, its fine. I dont really know if my problem is with the plugin, or with something in html. The images with opacity of 0.4 is ok. But when achieve some badge, the image that go to opacity = 1 have some blur; I need this pic with full quality. Anyone can help-me?

    Thanks!

Hi francisco123, without a link to an example of where you’re seeing this occur, I can only offer guesses.

It really sounds to me like an image quality issue with what images you have uploaded and used for the achievements. There’s chance that the images at 100% size are rather small, and the theme you’re using is trying to stretch them out a bit to meet its own dimensions for spots. Due to that, enlarging them will cause blurriness and distortion. Whenever possible, it’s good to upload large dimension images, while still keeping an eye on file size.

Hopefully this helps, but if you still want some help, a link will be most beneficial.

First of all, your plugin is great, Michael.

I am trying to understand what modifies the quality of my images; I believe that is some css in wordpress, about thumbnails or something. These thumbnails are located on badges directory. Even in the single page of one badge, with the description and other details, this thumb appears, but there it show good quality. I am using wordpress twentyfourteen theme. I will try figure out one solution. Thanks, anyway.

If you can provide a link to a live version of the site, I could definitely check with Firefox’s browser tools to see what may be causing it, if anything.

The plugin itself doesn’t ship with any default badge images, but it does make an external query for a default one or uses the Credly Badge Builder to create/store some. It could be that those aren’t returning quality that they should, but I can’t be certain.
